After a successful winter working in our West Loop facility with our very own Physical Therapist and Clinic Director, Jacob Brueck, the Dodgers’ 2016 1st round draft pick, Gavin Lux of Kenosha, WI, headed off to Spring training. Initially committed to play at Arizona State University, the talented shortstop will join the Dodgers organization and begin his journey as a professional baseball player at 19 years of age.

Jacob enjoyed being a part of Gavin’s off-season. “Gavin took an active role throughout his rehabilitation. He wanted to understand both the purpose and the practical application to correcting his identified movement impairments. This enabled him to more effectively sequence the body’s upper and lower chain for rotational movements such as hitting and throwing.”

It was great to have Gavin with us and we are confident he will report to the Dodgers stronger, more durable, and moving better than ever because of it. We look forward to great things from him in the future!
