At Performance in Motion (PIM) we believe in the power of Sport and being a contributing member of our local Chicago community. This is why we are very excited to be a part of a special initiative that combines BOTH! This 2017-2018 season, PIM has committed to supporting the Roberto Clemente High School’s Girls Basketball team and we are inviting YOU to join us in doing so as well!
Last season, first year Head Coach, Gaston Griffin (husband to our very own PIM River North Clinic Director, Alexis Griffin), inherited a program struggling with low team numbers, limited game play opportunities, and minimal financial support. Together with his gifted student-athletes, they rose up, worked hard, and achieved a winning record and a second round finish in the city playoffs. Check out a Letter from Coach Griffin here.
We believe last season was just the beginning. Coach Griffin, along with Assistant Coach, Reine Pavlik, are looking to continue to build on last year’s success to make an even larger impact on the lives of these great girls. As you can imagine, there are several areas of financial need for this to happen, including team apparel, travel costs, and many more operational expenses. This is where we can help!
