Ella (she/her) was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where she grew up a multi-sport athlete, with a primary focus on high-level club soccer. Through her experience in early high school rehabbing two back-to-back ACL reconstructions to get back on the field, she developed a passion for wanting to fill the gaps between rehab, performance, and injury prevention, especially in young female athletes, while addressing each patient as an individual to meet their specific goals. This led her to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) and ultimately her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Washington University in St. Louis.
Ella’s clinical training and experience includes extensive time spent working with active individuals and athletes at all ages and levels, where she brings about a collaborative, individualized, evidence-based treatment approach that aims to empower her patients to move better, feel stronger, and achieve their goals. She loves that physical therapy offers lifelong learning—from mentors, colleagues, patients, and beyond—and the privilege of watching her patients gain confidence as they exceed their goals.
Outside the clinic, Ella keeps active through various outlets, whether it’s rec sports with friends, a Pilates or yoga class, lifting at the gym, or a run along the lakefront. She enjoys exploring her new home in downtown Chicago, where she loves being steps from all the amazing food, drink, and music scenes that the city has to offer.
