Physical Therapist/Vice President of Operations

Originally from Burlington, IA, Jacob completed his undergraduate education at Central CollegeĀ and became a certified Athletic Trainer and Strength Conditioning Specialist.Ā He obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa. Following graduation, Jacob joined Athletes' Performance (now EXOS) in Frisco, TX, where he treated and assisted with sports performance development of high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. While there, Jacob found a passion for clinical education, serving as the director of clinical education and a clinical instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy students. He has contributed to curriculum content for continuing education in sports medicine and has taught material both domestically and internationally.

Jacob managed a large outpatient PT clinic in Des Moines, IA, before joining us at Performance in Motion. He now serves as the Vice President of Operations for our clinics and our Center Coordinator for Clinical Education. He lives in the Northern suburbs with his wife, Marie, and their children.
