Robbie Ohashi (he/him) is a clinician, educator, and the President/Founder of Performance in Motion. Originally from Torrance, CA, his first experience in sports medicine was working as a student athletic trainer with the U.C.L.A. football, women’s gymnastics and baseball teams. Interested in evaluating and correcting movement disorders, he sought out Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. After working at Calif Rehab & Sports Therapy in Orange County, CA, he joined Athletes’ Performance (now EXOS) in Phoenix, AZ, which eventually brought him to Chicago, IL.
In April of 2011, Robbie started Performance in Motion (PIM) and has since successfully treated and traveled with elite and professional athletes throughout every major professional sport and numerous World Class athletes from Olympic sports including figure skating, table tennis, tae kwon do, and track & field. He has developed and taught PIM methodology seminars in Japan and the US, has been a keynote speaker at numerous universities, international, and domestic conferences, has served on the Board of Directors for the American Dry Needling Association, as a Movement Ambassador with Move2Thrive, and has authored several journal commentaries, blogs, and a recent book chapter. He currently lives in Winfield, IL, with his wife and Team PIM member, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Sophia and Peyton.

Originally from Burlington, IA, Jacob graduated from Central College in Pella, IA majoring in Exercise Science/Athletic Training and Suma Cum Laude from the University of Iowa with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Jacob joined Athletes’ Performance (now EXOS) in Frisco, TX, where he successfully treated elite athletes throughout the MLB, NFL, NBA, and beyond, and developed a passion for clinical education, serving as a Clinical Instructor for 10+ Doctor of Physical Therapy students over the years. He served as the Clinic Director for a large, busy outpatient PT clinic in Des Moines, IA, before joining us at Performance in Motion where he serves as the Clinic Director for our two locations, as well as our Center Coordinator for Clinical Education.
Jacob has a strong interest in evaluating and treating movement related disorders. He has taught, presented posters, and contributed to blogs both domestically and internationally, and is certified as a Dynamic Neuromuscular practitioner (Level A), Dry Needling practitioner, ASTYM practitioner, Postural Restoration Institute practitioner, and Rocktape provider. He lives in Northbrook with his wife, Marie, and son Eli.

Jyron comes to Performance in Motion as a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer with a wealth of experience working with elite and professional athletes amongst a variety of sports. Originally from Woodstock, IL, he headed north to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and eventually his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Marquette University. Throughout his seven plus years in Milwaukee, WI, Jyron’s passion for sports medicine and working with high level athletes fueled him to contribute as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers organizations, as well as throughout clinical experiences at the Marquette University Athletic Training room and at EXOS in Phoenix, Arizona. He comes to Performance in Motion after spending a year overseeing a clinic for Sports Physical Therapists in Racine, WI.
Having a strong interest in integrating performance training and rehabilitation through sound movement enhancement principles, Jyron utilizes his communication skills, eclectic approach, and commitment to delivering quality care to make a positive impact on each athlete he works with. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer, a certified Dry Needling practitioner, and was the recipient of numerous prestigious scholarships throughout his time at Marquette University. Jyron remains active in his local and professional community, enjoys playing basketball, and is always keeping moving towards his own personal fitness goals. He is excited to be back in his home state of Illinois and enjoys living in downtown Chicago.

Autumn (she/her) is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a USA Weightlifting Coach coming to Performance in Motion from a diverse background in sports and physical therapy. Autumn graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Movement Science and then moved to New York City for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University. Autumn was born on the West Coast, started her career on the East Coast, and is now proud to call the Midwest Coast home!
Autumn’s style of care is centered on a person-first approach, with careful consideration of the client’s unique goals, history, and preferences. She is passionate about empowering people to discover their full potential. Her approach is unique because she integrates her pelvic health training with a strong orthopedic background. Autumn also has a robust history in athletics, including playing rugby for the University of Michigan, where she was a collegiate All-American, as well as 10+ years of experience in strength sports, including CrossFit, powerlifting, and Olympic Weightlifting.
If Autumn’s not working, you can find her at the gym or enjoying the great outdoors. When Autumn is sitting still, she loves good food and drink along with her family, friends, and overly-dramatic German Shepherd Dax.

Jennifer is a Physical Therapist who has dedicated her career to incorporating current research findings into effective outpatient Physical Therapy and exercise programs with the goal of slowing the disease progression and improving the lives of people living with neurological movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease. Originally from Abingdon, IL, Jennifer received her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, before heading to Washington University in St. Louis where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
Jennifer has worked as a Physical Therapist in the Inpatient Rehabilitation departments of St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, CA, St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center, in Phoenix, AZ, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL, before joining our team at Performance in Motion. Her unique outpatient program is individualized for patients at all stages of neurological movement disorders and focuses on high intensity, high amplitude movements and cognitive dual tasking. Along with her husband and Team PIM colleague, Robbie, and their daughters, Sophia and Peyton, Jennifer lives in Winfield, IL.
